Joe specializes in aerial photography and videography with a primary
focus on landscape images. He has been practicing his art since 2009,
when he first learned how to capture still shots on a digital Canon T3i
camera while traveling the world for leisure. His aerial photography
journey began during his travels when he found that he was fascinated
with trying to capture images through an often foggy or scratched
airplane window during takeoff and descent. Joe loved the aerial view
point and wanted to capture the beauty he was seeing through the power
of a lens.
To broaden his skill set of capturing still images, Joe decided to
invest in his first drone and see where that would take him. His world
of photography opened up when he realized that he was immediately drawn
to skylines and landscape images through the perspective of his drone.
It was his first drone shot of Houston’s skyline at sunset, with an
array of rainbow colors dancing across the sky that instantly got him
hooked! This defining moment grew into a passion for the captured image.
Today, Joe masterfully merges our limited horizontal view of the world
using drone photography technology, producing images experienced from
thrilling vantage points. His intriguing skyline cityscapes, daunting
cliffs and dramatic snow-covered mountains invite a sense of wonder.
Joe's pieces beautify industry and merge the natural and organic
landscapes of earth. His photographs transform the depths of
perspective.
The process is simple: Joe captures the raw image, edits, and the result
is a vibrant, one-of-a-kind aerial image that looks even more incredible
once mounted on Acrylic. He offers most prints in two sizes with limited
quantities and various limited series, giving buyers a unique investment
of artwork.
Inspired by Master Photographer Peter Lik, Joe's pieces are coveted by
titans of industry and major collectors in Texas and Colorado. Joe
continues to push himself and his craft and believes that the journey of
capturing these moments in time are testaments to beauty, progress and
radiance. His careful study of light and viewpoint are a testament to
the thoughtfulness and respect his images demand.
